Why temples??

The movie which induced a lot of thought process in my head recently was “Oh My God”.  No doubt it was a great entertainer and the facts that are given in the movie are acceptable, the fictitious portrait of spiritual and religious leaders is of course intolerable..!

Incredible  the knowledge of  Advaita is, Of course science give the hint, some how..! The movie’s goal is to portray the truth that all gods are one and there is no separation..!

OK i truly accept this is right.. but why don’t we look into the basic cause why these worship places are made for and how come these became so famous and attracted almost every one in the past..!

Starting of with my research, I had been to various temples recently found something  very brilliant please note that to under stand this you need little knowledge regarding the “levels of existence”  and “the energy centers  which you can refer at the end of this post..!

So the science as we know says that the energy can neither be created nor be destroyed at the same time the energy can be concentrated and intensified. Like the wise say “ God is every where like air, but to feel him we need to step in to a temple like using a fan”.

Make temple a place to meditate, this was the motive..!

Now the daily life involves lot of running around, gossip,  opinions, all negative emotions and high excitements so the mind naturally tend to be restless, the whole point of meditation is to rest,

so first the ancients warm up as the parikrama/ pradakshina the also cleans the aura as the positive vibes throws up from the sanctum center( where the idol is present). the whole point of building temples over hills was the same and at the same time

you do little bit of breathing which gives you relaxation (pranayam).

then the ancient temples had huge architecture and a dhvaja sthambha (pillar)

what could be the reason behind constructing a metal pillar in the precincts of the temple? I believe that the Dhavaja Stambha is basically an ancient lightning arrestor. They safe guard the city from lightning.

The architecture if you see the divine romance is portrayed and all animals, naked men women gods etc. are put up in the outer walls of tyhe temple, when you do a round about all these a sense of respect develops in the mind and it automatically feels light.

The ancient temples had 7 gates each gate had a different musical instrument being played, like the first one had tabla, mrudangam which induces the first chakra(at the base of the spine), and in the sanctum center it is the conch and the bell, which activates the sahasrara( top of the head) which gives the absolute Bliss..!

So with the walking, climbing , pranayam and meditation become very deep and you experience absolute bliss..! this is what rishis wanted you to do..! Pooja is a thanks giving ceremony which say i offer u as much i can which you have only given to me..! and praises to god give those virtues and qualities unto you..! as you become one when you serve every one..!

All that I’ve discussed is experiential … including the sanskrit chanting that is done in any temple.. understand this much.. when you are stress free you take better decisions of-course more  the better decisions you take more beautiful and prosperous your life will be..!

Advaita means there is no two..! Meditation is seeing god in yourselves, service is seeing god in the person next to you..!

note : 1000 words are nothing infront of one true experience, next time you go to a temple sit with your eyes closed and just relax wow,..! you’ll feel..!

temples are not divide .! but to unite you with HIM. any one say anything just rubbish it you be clear first..!
